I will be adding dynaliner to inside of new draken design it will dramatically reduce noise.

I will personally be be adding a Fan Silencer on the on the Draken case fan. I hope they used a 140 MM fan they are much quieter.

I have been making quiet PC's since 1991. All my tricks will work to allow the Draken to run in a sleeping baby's room.

Keep me updated with how to keep the Draken silent dave :)! I'm planning to use the printer in my room and I want to do homework next to iT or even sleep when it's running so noise is a issue for me ;)

One question the dynaliner you linked is a thermal insulator, wouldn't be better to use a noise insulator? (The only I can think of now is too thick but there must be something)

And for the fanslicer, you probably could print this yourself! As long as you got flexible resin! Worth a try :)

The 1/2 inch Dynaliner is great it reducing low frequency noises. If any hight frequency noises add dynamat on top.

The Fan Silencer is only $3.00 I coupd print with flexable resin but would not be cost effective.

But  will be designing a Fan muffler out of flexible resin and installing that at a later date

The Dynaliner sheet is quite interesting.  Where it is supposed to be glued to? If it passively absorb noise, maybe should work anywhere inside.
    It is not very cheap:

It is one side adhesive. It would just cover all internal surfaces. It would absorb the noise and any hum created by the aluminum shell with the fand stepper motor and projector vibrating. Deadening the hollow sound the the case is also a good side effect.
Due to price this is more of a User installable option.

Well, other than the servo sound, the printer is pretty quiet as it is. :)
